The aim of the conference

The main aim of the conference is to provide an exceptional platform for discussion of achievements, undertakings, and how to act in the future, to ensure conditions for achieving lasting peace and security.
The aim of the conference is to contribute to the political, scientific and professional debate on the entire spectrum of civilian and military contributions to global peacekeeping activities, including responses to new security challenges and to provide a comprehensive view of dedicated and coordinated activities of all international actors on the issues of preserving global peace, including contemporary security challenges. In addition, the conference will be focused on display of Croatian contribution to the preservation of peace and debate about the effects that this peacekeeping experience had in this part of Europe on the overall evolution of the concept of international peacekeeping operations. The conference intends to offer conclusions and guidelines, useful for the present and future efforts to preserve peace.
