Open Day in "Bosut" barracks in Vinkovci
On occasion of Victory Day, Homeland Gratitude Day and the Day of Croatian Veterans, and 16th Anniversary of "Storm Operation" an open door was held on August 4 in the "Bosut" barracks in Vinkovci.
More than 350 visitors, of which a large number of children, toured the display assembly of weapons and combat equipment of Guards Armoured Mechanized Brigade.
Especially attractive for the visitors was the tour inside the M-84 tanks and other armoured and infantry combat vehicles and weapons.
On this occasion there was the line-up of the Guards Armoured Mechanized Brigade, promotions, commendations and awards to members of the unit were delivered and service for the deceased Croatian defenders, led by a military chaplain Alojz Kovacek, was held.
