Over the weekend, from 16 to 19 July 2010, crews of transport helicopter squadron (ETH) of the 93rd Air Force Base conducted seven emergency medical flights with MI-8 MTV helicopter.
On Friday, July 16, two patients from the island of Hvar and Korcula were transported to Split Clinical Hospital (KBC), while on Sunday, July 18, ETH crews transported four patients from the island of Lastovo, Brac and Hvar to KBC Split. Also, during the night, July 19, the ETH crew transported a patient whose life was endangered from the island of Lastovo to KBC Split.
In 2010, ETH crews from the 93rd Air Force Base in Divulje transported total of 184 patients, with the largest number of medical flights during the summer months.
