"Cooperation in the field of maritime interception operations course" was held at the Lora Naval Base from 17 to 21 October 2011, conducted by a team of the Greek Navy from the NATO MIOTC (NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre). For the first time the course was held outside the training center in Crete.
Navy Lieutenant Athonis Pothitos and Navy Lieutenant Commander George Mantzouris from the Greek Navy, held a series of lectures on the topics of intelligence preparation, methods of recognizing suspicious ships and procedures for transshipment methods. 23 officers and NCOs of the Croatian Navy successfully completed the course.
