At the request of Krapina-Zagorje County, Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic, in consultation with the Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, approved today, on Friday, 4 November 2011, setting up a temporary pontoon bridge by the Croatian Armed Forces in the vicinity of the existing bridge Mokrice  with the aim to easier establish temporary traffic communications between the eastern and western part of the county.
CAF will, in cooperation with representatives of local authorities, begin with works next week and set up the pontoon bridge to facilitate traffic communications in Krapina-Zagorje County. The bridge over the Krapina River, located on State Road D1 will be, according to the notice of the Croatian Roads - Branch Office Zagreb, closed for traffic until 2 March 2012 due to renovation.
