The fifth contingent consisting of 92 members of the Croatian Armed Forces, members of the Guard Armoured Mechanized Brigade of the Croatian Army, Nuclear-biological-chemical Battalion, Croatian Navy, Croatian Air Force and Air Defence and members of the Support Command, was sent on Thursday , 10 June 2010 in the peacekeeping mission of the United Nations  on the Golan Heights (UNDOF) for a period of six months.
Rotation between the fourth and fifth contingent was made from 1 to 10 June 2010. Commander of the 5th HRVCON is Colonel Slavko Stojanovic from the Guard Armoured Mechanized Brigade. On the Golan Heights, in the UNDOF peacekeeping mission, which lasts from 1974, members of the Croatian Armed Forces will continue the monitoring of separation area between Israel and Syria.
