400 soldiers admitted to active military service
Based on the annual plan of acquiring active military personnel in the Croatian Armed Forces, these days 400 soldiers signed a contract on active military service with the Ministry of Defence.
307 people completed voluntary military service, and 93 persons, who already served as conscripts and have fulfilled all necessary criteria for admission, earlier applied for admission to active military service,.
The soldiers in accordance with the needs of the Armed Forces were assigned to specialized training in the following units: the Centre for Navy Training in Split, Centre for Training and Doctrine of Logistics Command in Pozega, Engineering Regiment in Karlovac, Signal Regiment in Zagreb, Infantry Regiment in Đakovo and to the Artillery Rocket Regiment in Bjelovar.
Contract on service in the Croatian Armed Forces in the status of active duty soldiers is signed for three years, with probation for six months.
