Joint training of members of the CAF Special Operations Battalion (BSD) and U.S. Naval Special Warfare Unit-2 (NSWU-2) in maritime operations and parachute jumps has been conducted from 1 to 10 February 2012 in Lora Naval Base in Split and in "Josip Jovic Barracks" in Udbina.

During the morning, 6 February 2012, total of 40 members of the Armed Forces - Guards Motorised Brigade were sent to the towns of Imotski and Vrgorac (20 members), where they continued with cleaning of snow.

Members of the Armed Forces who have been on specialist military training in Rocket-artillery Regiment of the Army in Bjelovar, conducted from 30 January to 3 February 2012, the final part of the training at the military training area "Eugen Kvaternik" near Slunj.

Around 100 members of the Armed Forces - Guards Motorized Brigade were deployed on Sunday, 5 February 2012,  to clean access to hospitals, health center and university campus in Split.

Once the excavator from the Armed Forces last night cleaned the snow drifts near Kosovo village and thereby ensured communication on the direction Knin - Drniš, this morning it was sent to the direction of the Knin - Oklaj - Kistanje - Bratiskovci.

In accordance with the orders of Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović, today, 4 February 2012, Task Force (NOS) of the Armed Forces was created, which may, as necessary, made it available for the purpose of eliminating the consequences of snowfall in Dalmatia.

A member of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence within the eighth Croatian contingent in KFOR on Kosovo, Major Dražen Čorić, is the overall winner of the KFOR 1^st Annual Ski Competition 2012, which was held on 31 January and 1 February 2012 in the ski resort Brezovica in Kosovo.
