Joint training of members of the CAF Special Operations Battalion (BSD) and U.S. Naval Special Warfare Unit-2 (NSWU-2) in maritime operations and parachute jumps has been conducted from 1 to 10 February 2012 in Lora Naval Base in Split and in "Josip Jovic Barracks" in Udbina.

Members of the Armed Forces who have been on specialist military training in Rocket-artillery Regiment of the Army in Bjelovar, conducted from 30 January to 3 February 2012, the final part of the training at the military training area "Eugen Kvaternik" near Slunj.

20^th anniversary of the death of Croatian defenders Branko Fridel, Boris Kekez, Davor Šabić, Mladen Škalica and Bojan Vojvoda, members of the Independent Air Force Platoon Split, who tragically died in an AN-2 plane crash in Šimca near Sinj, was commemorated today in Sinj.

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić held a lecture today, 25 January 2012, at the War College, to students of 14^th generation on a topic of membership of Republic of Croatia in the European Union.

19th Anniversary of "Maslenica '93" military operation was commemorated on Saturday, January 21, by wreath-laying ceremony in front of the Central Cross in the Zadar Municipal Cemetery and at the Memorial of 3rd battalion of the 4th Guard Brigade "Imotski Sokolovi" in Zadar.

Children from Kindergarten for children with disabilities "Latica" from Zadar visited on 18 January 2012, 93^rd Air Force Base in "Zemunik" barracks, accompanied by director of the kindergarten Vesna Penjalov.
