By reveilles performed by the CAF Orchestra in Okucani through the streets, by paying the honour to all fallen Croatian defenders and by solemn aligning of the CAF and Police, a 15^th anniversary of the “Flash” military operation was commemorated on May 1, in which only in about thirty hours back then occupied territory of Western Slavonia was liberated.

In his first visit to Croatia since the Republic of Croatia became a full member of the Alliance's a year ago, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen paid a two-day visit to Zagreb.

The 19th anniversary of the 4th Guard Brigade, now 2nd Motorized Battalion "Pauci" of the Army, was commemorated in the "Kralj Zvonimir" Barracks in Knin, on Wednesday, April 28.

"Functioning of logistics station in the field conditions and transportation by helicopter" exercise was held in the Centre for Training and Doctrine of Logistics (SzOiDL) on the "Glavica" military training ground near Pozega, on Tuesday, April 27. SzOiDL staff, 9th generation's students of basic officer training and members of the multi-role helicopter squadron from the 91st Air Force Base "Pleso" with the Mi-171 Sh helicopter participated on the exercise.

Ninth generation's students of the Military Diplomatic Training completed the three-month course at the Croatian Military Academy (HVU) on Friday, April 23.

First course for combat rescue was conducted in the Centre for Logistics Training and Doctrine in Pozega, from 12 to 17 of April, and the final exercise was held on the last day of military training in "Glavice" military training ground.
