State Secretary Pjer Simunovic participated on the 10^th Congress on European Security and Defence, which took place on 8 and 9 November 2011 in Berlin, and on which occasion he held a lecture on the experience of Croatia in the stabilization process in Afghanistan.

As part of the "World Around Us" program, children from the Association for the game, ecology, social welfare and culture from Split and part of residents of the Mistral home who care about children without parents, visited on 5 November 2011 the barracks "Prince Trpimir" in Divulje near Split where they met crews of the transport helicopter squadron of the 93^rd Air force Base of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence.

Aircraft Squadron of the 93^rd Air Base of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence marked its 20^th anniversary since the establishment.

Special Operations Battalion (BSD) conducted training of light divers "R-1", by which members of BSD train and improve the performance of special operations and tasks at the sea, rivers and lakes, in "Kovcanje" barracks on Mali Losinj from 17 October to 4 November 2011.

On occasion of the All Saints Day, on Tuesday, November 1, the highest state delegation led by the President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipovic, Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor and Vice Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Vladimir Seks, laid wreaths and lit candles at the Mirogoj cemetery.

On the occasion of All Saints Day, delegations of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, the City of Zagreb, MOD Department for Regional Defence Affairs Zagreb and representatives of the veterans' associations laid a wreath in remembrance of all victims of Homeland war, today, 31 October, at the city cemetery Mirosevac.
