The 10th anniversary of establishing the Special Operations Battalion of the Croatian Armed Forces was celebrated on September 8 in the "Drgomalj" Barracks in Delnice. In addition to the Battalion staff, the ceremony was also attended by a number of civil and military officials, headed by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Ivo Josipovic, envoy of the Parliament Speaker Zeljka Antunovic, and envoy of the Minister of Defence Chief of General Staff General Josip Lucic.

Squadron of fighter planes of the 91st Air Base will participate from 7 to 10 September together with pilots of the USAF 31st FW (Fighter Wing) / 555 FS (Fighter Squadron) on the "Adriatic Sword 2010" air force exercise.

More MOD and CAF officials, headed by MOD State Secretary Pjer Simunovic and Croatian Military Academy Director Major General Mirko Sundov, from 31 August to 2 September, have been participating in workshops on crisis management, organized by the European Centre for Security Studies George C. Marshall.

Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, participated on Sunday, August 29, on the air show which was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of aviation in the Republic of Croatia on the Sports airport in Lucko.

Deputy Commander of the Croatian Navy, Rear  Admiral (LH) Tihomir Erceg opened on Saturday, August 28, in the Stari Grad on Hvar Island, the 35^th Croatian international championship in the long distance swimming - "Faros Marathon”

On Tuesday, August 17, in Brussels, a Croatian company INsig2 signed a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A). The agreement was signed by Mr. Goran Oparnica, INsig2 Director and NC3A Director Mr Georges D'Hollander.
