Airtractor Fireboss aircraft on Tuesday, July 20, which participated in a fire extinguishing on Dinara,  made an emergency landing around 16:40 hours on the Karin Sea, due to indications of technical failure, and following all the safety procedures. The pilot was not injured, the aircraft itself was not damaged on landing, and CAF technical team was sent to the scene.

On the occasion of his participation at the International Conference on Afghanistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandrokovic visited on Tuesday, July 20 , in Kabul, members of the Croatian Armed Forces of the 15th Croatian military contingent (15. HRVCON) in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan.

Croatian Defence Minister Branko Vukelic and his associates paid today, July 5, a bilateral visit to Montenegro, where he met with Montenegro Defence Minister Boro Vucinic and President Filip Vujanovic. At the meeting of defence ministers of Croatia and Montenegro, topics discussed were defence cooperation in the region, participation of the two countries in regional initiatives, reforming the defence system, as well as further cooperation in military training of members of armed forces of Montenegro on the Croatian Military Academy.

Director of MOD Human Resources Directorate Nenad Smolcec and Commander of the Support Command Brigadier General Mate Ostovic visited today, June 30, family of killed Sergeant 1st Class Vladimir Vincelj.

During the destruction of mine-explosive assets on the "Eugen Kvaternik" military training ground, near Slunj, today, June 29, at 13:30 hours, Sergeant 1^st Class Vladimir Vincelj, NCO of the Support Command, was killed in an accident at work.

Beginning from June 28, the several day training of forward air controllers and close air support which, at the request of the CAF, was jointly conducted by the Croatian Army, Croatian Air Force and Air Defence and United States Air Force Europe ( USAF) has been carried out on the "Eugen Kvaternik" military training area.
