At a press conference, after touring the \"Taborec\" barracks, Mayor of Samobor Kresimir Beljak said that this was the facility with ten buildings and area of 16 hectares. The Mayor announced that City Administration, which was now located in the historic centre of Samobor, would soon move to this facility, and thus allow the development of tourism in Samobor. The Mayor also announced that Police Station would also move the next year to this facility and that the surrounding roads would be reconstructed in accordance with the city's roads. Defence Minister Vukelic congratulated Samobor city government in a well-thought-out project of conversion of the former barracks, adding that this is a unique example of how the city administration moved to a new location and thus revitalize this city area."}
