{"id":104830,"date":"2019-07-19T16:14:48","date_gmt":"2019-07-19T14:14:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/?p=104830"},"modified":"2020-12-10T10:56:36","modified_gmt":"2020-12-10T09:56:36","slug":"minister-krsticevic-visits-barracks-at-udbina-and-zemunik","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/en\/minister-krsticevic-visits-barracks-at-udbina-and-zemunik\/","title":{"rendered":"Minister Krsti\u010devi\u0107 visits barracks at Udbina and Zemunik"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Damir Krsti\u010devi\u0107 on 19 July 2019 visited the barracks \u201cJosip Jovi\u0107\u201c at Udbina and \u201cPukovnik Mirko Vuku\u0161i\u0107\u201c at Zemunik.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit to the Barracks \u201cJosip Jovi\u0107\u201c at Udbina the Commander of the Croatian Army, Major General Sini\u0161a Jurkovi\u0107 and the Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command Colonel \u017deljko Ljubas briefed Minister Krsti\u010devi\u0107a on the progress of the efforts in establishment of the Leadership Development Centre \u201cMarko Babi\u0107\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Krsti\u010devi\u0107 toured the works in the camp to host summer classrooms and accomodation premises as well as the works on the training-related infrastructure of the Leadership Development Centre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am satisfied with the work dynamics here at Udbina. The Centre, which continues the role of the NCO training centre at \u0160epurine, which had a very important part in Homeland War, and will provide the Croatian Armed Forces with a new capability, enhancing their professionalism and readiness\u201c, said the Minister.<\/p>\n<p>Minister also visited the Summer Camp 2, attended by 92 cadets of the 15th generation of students of the 2nd year of Military Management and Military Engineer studies.<\/p>\n<p>The Summer Camp 2 is administrated from 7 \u2013 19 July 2019, and featured procedures in tactics, shooting, camping, squad movement and formations, defensive and offensive operations by squads, the response to the fire, the crossing of a dangerous terrain etc.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister also visited the Barracks \u201cPukovnik Mirko Vuku\u0161i\u0107\u201c at Zemunik and was briefed on the engagement of the firefighter forces in the 2019 Season.<\/p>\n<p>Minister underlined the excellent co-operation among the components of the Homeland Security System.<br \/>\nFurthermore he also toured the facilities housing the Multinational Special Aviation Program (MSAP).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minister Krsti\u010devi\u0107 observed the works on the Leader Development Centre, and the Cadet Summer Camp and was briefed on the engagement of the forces in the firefighter season 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4693,"featured_media":104442,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[117],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-104830","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-press-releases"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
