The subject of the symposiumm was protection of the key information structure. It gathered representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Croatian Armed Forces, representatives of the Minnesota National Guard, the University of Minnesota, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, the Office of the National Security Council, the Information Systems Security Bureau, the Croatian National Computer Emergency Response Team and the Ministry of the Interior. The lectures delivered by the professors of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing and the Information Systems Security Bureau enabled the Symposium participants to gain a deeper understanding of the protection of the key infrastructure. The symposium featured discussions on the possibilities for future\u00a0 co-operation within the State Partnership Program with the Minnesota National Guard and the expansion to public-private partnership.
The joint activities pertaining to the development of cyber capabilities will continue with a workshop on the development of technical capabilities, engaging the members of the the Croatian Armed Forces and the Minnesota National Guard. The subject of the workshop, to be administered by the instructors of the Minnesota National Guard is computer networks fortification.\u00a0
The co-operation between the Croatian Armed Forces and the Minnesota National Guard in the domain of development of cyber capabilities commenced in 2012 and in 2013 was expanded to include the academic community, with the visit of the NG Adjutant General to the CIS Directorate of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces. Over the past years representatives of the University of Zagreb and from Minnesota have delivered a series of lectures on cyber safety, risk management and collection of dana on the threats from the cyber space and the acquired knowledge has been successfully implemented at all levels in the Croatian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
