Its task is to propose and coordinate activities and plans and to analyse financial effects of the budget allocations for defence.<\/p>\n<p>The Commission is headed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovi\u0107, while the deputy is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Ivan Anu\u0161i\u0107, and other members are representatives of several other ministries.<\/p>\n<p>According to the decision, the Interdepartmental Commission will be tasked with analysing, coordinating and monitoring the use of various sources of financing for strategically important projects, with the aim of strengthening defence capabilities and capacities of the defence industry, and monitoring the implementation of projects that will be financed from these sources.<\/p>\n<p>The Commission will also establish a link between the defence and scientific research sectors with the aim of technological development, as well as encouraging research and development of defence products and technologies.
