He reminded on the membership in NATO and on the main activities of the Alliance aimed at achieving full integration, compatibility and interoperability. &#8220;NATO Membership, the system of collective defence, put our national security in a completely new level in which we confirmed as a reliable ally&#8221;, Minister Vukelic said. The Minister also talked about the participation of CAF members in international peacekeeping operations and missions, filling positions in NATO structures, participation in the defence cooperation, preparation for full integration of Croatia in the European Union, making a series of new strategic documents, and about achieving our strategic goals.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the Croatian Armed Forces, Chief of General Staff General Josip Lucic recalled on the establishment of peacetime\u00a0 restructuring of the armed forces, and the shift from individual to collective defence system.
