Team of investigators led by the chief military aviation investigator Colonel Goran Strmecki, began this morning to work on the ground – at the place of landing of Airtractor AT 802 on the island of Brac. As expected, the investigation will take all day today, considering that it is quite demanding terrain – in fact it is a garbage dump, and the investigation is also difficult because of the strong wind. Upon completion of the investigation at the scene, the plane will be transported to the Zemunik Airbase, and the time will depend on the investigation on the ground and on the weather conditions in the coming period. <\/p>\n

Fire Fighting Task Force of the Croatian Armed Forces during yesterday were engaged at five different fire sites with almost all the available fire-fighting air force – a total of 10 aircraft, with total of 485 flights, 61 flight hours, and 2497 tons of water thrown, of which 212 tons of water at the fire site on island of Brac. Fires were within a radius of about 100km, and fire fighting air forces were diverted from one fire scene to another in coordination with ground forces.<\/p>\n[nggallery id=543]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
