{"id":6219,"date":"2011-09-12T13:35:33","date_gmt":"2011-09-12T11:35:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/delegation-of-the-peoples-republic-of-china-visits-ministry-of-defence\/"},"modified":"2017-10-08T18:31:37","modified_gmt":"2017-10-08T16:31:37","slug":"delegation-of-the-peoples-republic-of-china-visits-ministry-of-defence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/en\/delegation-of-the-peoples-republic-of-china-visits-ministry-of-defence\/","title":{"rendered":"Delegation of the People&#8217;s Republic of China visits Ministry of Defence"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p> General Xu Caihou was accompanied by the Deputy Chief of General Staff of People&#8217;s Republic of China, General Ma Xiaotian, and eight other generals and admirals \u2013 several Chinese military commanders of military regions, representatives of the Navy and Air Force, and other senior officials of the Ministry of National Defence of the People&#8217;s Republic of China. <\/p>\n<p> Minister Bozinovic during the talks with the Chinese delegation said that there were no open issues between Croatia and the People&#8217;s Republic of China, and that there was enough space for even better cooperation between the two countries, including cooperation in the field of international security. Minister Bozinovic stressed the role of Croatia as NATO member in international peacekeeping missions, highlighting that Croatia was already contributing to the European Security and Defence Policy, although not yet a full member of the EU. <\/p>\n<p> General Xu Caihou pointed out that Croatia was a young country, but that the Croatian people was one of the oldest in Europe, and agreed with the opinion that there was space for more fruitful cooperation between the two countries on defence and security plan.
