For CAF members who will not be able to vote at the polling station of their residence, two polling stations were organized (in Karlovac and on the Brijuni Islands) in the Republic of Croatia where a total of 120 voters \u2013 CAF members will be allowed to vote.<\/p>\n<p>CAF Members who on this day serve in peacekeeping operations and missions abroad, it is possible to vote on four polling stations &#8211; three polling stations in Afghanistan (ISAF &#8211; a total of 344 voters \u2013 CAF members) &#8211; Kabul (Warehouse Camp) and Mazar-e-Sharif (Marmal Camp and Mike Spann Camp), and at one polling station on the Golan Heights (UNDOF mission &#8211; a total of 95 voters \u2013 CAF members) in the Faouar Camp.<\/p>\n<p>In Kosovo, in the KFOR peacekeeping operation, CAF members (22) will be able to vote at the polling station at the diplomatic-consular mission of the Republic of Croatia in Pristina, the same as other Croatian citizens in that country.<\/p>\n<p>Polling stations in the Armed Forces in the Republic of Croatia will be opened as all other polling stations in the Republic of Croatia, on Sunday, 22 January 2012, from 7.00 to19.00 hours, while voting at polling stations in Afghanistan and the Golan Heights will be held on 22 January 2012, from 7.00 to19.00 hours local time.<\/p>\n[nggallery id=691]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Polling stations where vote members of the Croatian Armed Forces in Afghanistan, the Golan Heights in Syria and in Croatia \u2013 in the Army Command in Karlovac and on Brijuni, today, Sunday 22 January 2012, were opened and members of the Armed Forces began voting on today\u2019s referendum on Croatian accession to the European Union. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":38362,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[117],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-6357","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-press-releases"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
