{"id":6364,"date":"2012-01-28T13:46:32","date_gmt":"2012-01-28T12:46:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/19th-anniversary-of-the-qperuaq-action\/"},"modified":"2017-10-08T18:31:54","modified_gmt":"2017-10-08T16:31:54","slug":"19th-anniversary-of-the-qperuaq-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/en\/19th-anniversary-of-the-qperuaq-action\/","title":{"rendered":"19th anniversary of the &#8220;Peru\u0107a&#8221; Action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Program was organized by the Association of Croatian war veterans, &#8220;Veterans of 126th brigade-Sinj&#8221;, and was attended by Minister of Defence Ante Kotromanovi\u0107, who was one of the participants of the &#8220;Peru\u0107a&#8221; Action, Deputy Minister of Veterans Nevenka Beni\u0107, Deputy Prefect of Split-Dalmatia County Luka Br\u010di\u0107, Mayor of Sinj Ivica Glavan, representatives of war veterans\u2019 associations, families of deceased veterans and others.<br \/>The program started with the launch of monograph on the fallen members of the Army from Cetina region &#8220;To Eternal Glory and Praise&#8221; in Alkarski Dvori in Sinj. Photomonograph was presented by author Filip Ratkovi\u0107 and his associate Stjepan Bekavac, followed by the address of Minister Kotromanovi\u0107, Deputy Minister Beni\u0107, Deputy Prefect Br\u010di\u0107, Mayor Glavan and Bo\u0161ko Vladovi\u0107, president of the 126th Brigade Veterans\u2019 Association. All speakers stressed that photomonograph has been a very important witness for the Homeland War and for veterans of the Cetina region who gave their lives for Croatia. These are our heroes, people who truly fought with us for the Croatian state, from Dubrovnik and Vukovar, and did all so today we have the free and independent Republic of Croatia and live in peace, said Minister Kotromanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>The center of &#8220;Peru\u0107a&#8221; commemoration was wreath laying ceremony at the memorial of Ante Buljan, member of the 126th Home Guard Regiment who was killed in action. The monument is located near the HEP plant with a dam whose liberation was the ultimate goal of the action. Besides Minister Kotromanovi\u0107, Brigadier General Mladen Fuzul was also in the delegation of the MOD and Armed Forces. Wartime commander of the &#8220;Peru\u0107a&#8221; Action Zdravko \u0160karpa and Representative of Hrvace Commune and MP Dinko Bo\u0161njak also addressed the present reminding them on the action.
