Then the President of the Republic of Croatia addressed the present expressing his condolence to the family, and emphasized that General Imra Agoti\u0107 made a great contribution to the creation of conditions for the defence of our Homeland, and in the organization of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, and in nowadays defence and security system of the Republic of Croatia. “The contribution of General Imre Agoti\u0107 to the creation of the Croatian Armed Forces and the Croatian Air Force is truly immeasurable, and his departure is a loss that can not be replaced. We will miss advice, rationality and wisdom of the great man dedicated to justice and Homeland”, the President said.<\/p>\n
Defence Minister Ante Kotromanovi\u0107 joined the condolences and for all the General did in creation and development of the Armed Forces and the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, stressing that General Agoti\u0107 done a lot for the creation and development of the Croatian Armed Forces, that he has the great merits for Croatia’s NATO membership, adding that Croatia would retain the capability of combat aviation, in which General Agoti\u0107 gave an outstanding contribution.<\/p>\n
On behalf of the Armed Forces, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Drago Lovri\u0107, paid tribute to General Agoti\u0107 for all he had done, stressing that he was and would be a military model. Talking about General Agoti\u0107 as a man of great courage and determination, the General emphasized his contribution to the Air Force and its preparation for the most important tasks in the liberation of Croatia. “General Imra Agoti\u0107 was always led with the idea that to give for Croatia was never too much.
