{"id":6474,"date":"2012-04-03T11:47:33","date_gmt":"2012-04-03T09:47:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/annual-briefing-for-the-diplomatic-military-corps\/"},"modified":"2017-10-08T18:32:06","modified_gmt":"2017-10-08T16:32:06","slug":"annual-briefing-for-the-diplomatic-military-corps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/en\/annual-briefing-for-the-diplomatic-military-corps\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual briefing for the diplomatic-military corps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In his lecture Minister Kotromanovi\u0107 pointed out that we have been facing significant work to further the development of defence system. &#8220;Permanent changes in the strategic context, such as integration into NATO and the European Union and the financial crisis significantly determined the direction of defence reforms&#8221;, the Minister said, and continued, &#8220;Earlier this year we started with creating a whole set of documents in the field of defence with the clear aim of improving our work. We will continue the process of the transformation towards a modern, efficient and affordable system&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to military envoys, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Lovri\u0107 said: &#8220;The Croatian Armed Forces have passed demanding transformation throughout its history. During the nineties we were the one that needed help, and now we help to others. It is our intention to continue on that path. I am proud because CAF with every day is more professional&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the presentation on behalf of the diplomatic-military corps, Brigadier General Manfred Sulzgruber thanked for the presentation and wished success in the reforms.
