She stressed the importance of the Croatian contribution to peace and stability in the region and explained in detail the security situation in Kosovo and the possibility of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of defence. Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Drago Lovri\u0107 emphasized the efforts undertaken by the CAF in transformation and the CAF willingness to share experiences and knowledge with the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in connection with reaching NATO requirements and standards, and the possibility of using CAF educational potential in the training of KSF officers.<\/p>\n<p> Afterwards General Lovri\u0107 visited members of the Croatian Armed Forces of the 9<sup>th<\/sup> HRVCON deployed in KFOR operation &#8211; 20 members mainly from the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence with two transport helicopters Mi &#8211; 171 SH deployed in the U.S. Bondsteel Camp in Uro\u0161evac and on staff duties in KFOR Command in Pri\u0161tina. General Lovri\u0107 also met with the KFOR Commander, Major General Erhard Drews, Commander of Multinational Task Force &#8211; East (MNTF-E), Colonel Jeffrey J. Liethen, and with the KFOR Bondsteel Base Commander, Colonel Steven J. Campfield. During the official talks they exchanged views on the current security situation in the KFOR area of \u200b\u200bresponsibility, on further transition of the operation and the contribution of the Croatian Armed Forces to KFOR, as well as on peace and stability building in Kosovo.
