{"id":6745,"date":"2012-09-13T14:12:30","date_gmt":"2012-09-13T12:12:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/government-decided-to-procure-five-coastal-patrol-ships\/"},"modified":"2012-09-13T14:12:30","modified_gmt":"2012-09-13T12:12:30","slug":"government-decided-to-procure-five-coastal-patrol-ships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/en\/government-decided-to-procure-five-coastal-patrol-ships\/","title":{"rendered":"Government decided to procure five coastal patrol ships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> This decision determined the need to purchase five coastal patrol ships for the Croatian Armed Forces, that is for the Croatian Navy and Coast Guard to control and protect the interests of the Republic  of Croatia at sea.<\/p>\n<p> The Commission for coordination of the implementation of this decision will be established which shall be headed by a representative of the Ministry of Defence, and which will consist of one representative from the General Staff, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance and from the Office of President. The procurement procedure for the five coastal patrol ships will be made by the Ministry of Defence and the funds will be planned in the defence budget in the period from 2013 to 2018.<\/p>\n<p> The coastal patrol ship primary purpose is to patrol and protecting the interests of the Republic of Croatia at sea, according to the Law on Coast Guard of the Republic of Croatia. The coastal patrol ships will be also used to support the island&#8217;s population and in search and rescue at sea.
