{"id":6834,"date":"2012-11-08T16:26:48","date_gmt":"2012-11-08T15:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/coast-guard-exercise-qsignal-12q\/"},"modified":"2017-10-08T18:32:44","modified_gmt":"2017-10-08T16:32:44","slug":"coast-guard-exercise-qsignal-12q","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/en\/coast-guard-exercise-qsignal-12q\/","title":{"rendered":"Coast Guard exercise &#8220;SIGNAL -12&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In addition to the Coast Guard members, rescue ship SB-73 &#8220;Faust Vran\u010di\u0107&#8221; where the exercise headquarters led by the Exercise Commander Adam Golub was situated, patrol boat OB-02, rubber boats GBX2 and plane PC-9 &#8220;Pilatus&#8221;, the exercise also involved members of the Special Operations Battalion, Navy Command Operations Centre and Air Surveillance and Monitoring Battalion.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;SIGNAL-12&#8221; exercise was conducted with the aim of readiness training of the Coast Guard in collaboration with other agencies, in taking the organizational, operational and safety measures in the implementation of the tasks of monitoring and protecting the rights and interests of the Republic of Croatia at sea.<\/p>\n<p>According to the scenario, the PC-9 &#8220;Pilatus&#8221; aircraft conducted reconnaissance of suspected vessel, dinghy Coast Guard boarding team performed a cooperative boarding and inspection of suspicious vessel, and members of the Special Operations Battalion stopped the speedboat with which the crew of the suspected ship tried to escape and made a forced boarding of the vessel.
