Gen. Drago Lovri\u0107. The Address was attended by the Director of the Academy, Lt.Gen. Slavko Bari\u0107 with the Academy staff, by the War School and the Command and Staff School students, as well as by the representatives of the U. S. Embassy to Croatia, of the Ministry of Defence and of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia and by the representatives of\u00a0 the General Staff of the Armed Forces. <br \/>The Address comprised five principal subjects: <br \/>&#8211; the US-Croatia defence and security co-operation,<br \/>&#8211; the U. S. politics within the global security framework,<br \/>&#8211; the economic security, the joint approach of the state administration bodies <br \/>&#8211; the civil-military relations.<br \/>The Ambassador\u00a0 highlighted\u00a0 repeatedly the excellent bilateral co-operation between the Republic of Croatia and the United States and stated that Croatia is an important partner of his country, which it is going to remain during the next four years and further on.
