The Task Force “North” comprises 400 members of the Armed Forces, equipped with the necessary transport vehicles, working machines and amphibious carriers , and is based in the barracks “Pukovnik Predrag Matanovi\u0107” in Petrinja, which also houses the Tactical Operations Centre, exercising command and control of the Task Force “North”. They have been deployed upon the request by the National Search and Rescue Directorate, in co-ordination with the Search and Rescue Hq of the Sisak-Moslavina County.
Col. Slobodan Kratofil of the Croatian Army has been designated as co-ordinator of all the activities of the Croatian Armed Forces in fighting the effects of the flood.\u00a0
