{"id":8488,"date":"2014-05-29T08:46:36","date_gmt":"2014-05-29T06:46:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/caf-and-croatian-army-day-commemorated1111\/"},"modified":"2017-10-08T18:35:05","modified_gmt":"2017-10-08T16:35:05","slug":"caf-and-croatian-army-day-commemorated1111","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/en\/caf-and-croatian-army-day-commemorated1111\/","title":{"rendered":"CAF and Croatian Army Day Commemorated"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>with wreaths laid and candles lighted at the Mirogoj Cemetery and the Memorial service for the fallen in the Homeland War held in the Sveta Mati Slobode Church in Zagreb. <br \/>Defence Minister Ante Kotromanovi\u0107 and the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Drago Lovri\u0107, heading the delegation composed of commanders of the services of the Croatian Armed Forces,\u00a0 laid wreaths and lighted the candles paying respects to the late war-time Defence Ministers Gojko \u0160u\u0161ak and Martin \u0160pegelj, the late Chief of the General Staff, General of the Army Zvonimir \u010cervenko and the first Air Force and Air Defence Commander, General Imre Agoti\u0107. <\/p>\n<p>The Envoy of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zlatko Garelji\u0107, the Chairman of the Croatian Parliament, Josip Leko, the Defence Minister Ante Kotromanovi\u0107, Minister of the Croatian Homeland War Veterans, Predrag Mati\u0107 and the Chief of the General Staff, Drago Lovri\u0107, heading the respective delegations, laid a wreath at the Wall of Pain monument, at the Monument of Partisan Heros, at the Central Cross in the Alley of the Fallen Croatian Defenders, at the common grave from the Croatian Homeland War and at the grave of the first Croatian President, Franjo Tu\u0111man at the Mirogoj Cemetery.\u00a0 <br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The Mass was celebrated in the \u00abSveta Mati Slobode\u00bb church in Zagreb, by the Military Ordinary of the Republic of Croatia, Mons. Juraj Jezerinac, and was attended by the Envoy of the President of the Republic, Zlatko Garelji\u0107, the Deputy Defence Minister Vi\u0161nja Tafra, the Chief of the General Staff, Drago Lovri\u0107 and other senior military and civilian officials. <br \/>The Vicar General of the Military Ordinariate, f.
