{"id":8974,"date":"2014-10-02T12:42:32","date_gmt":"2014-10-02T10:42:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/caf-complete-renovation-of-the-zvjezdice-centre02\/"},"modified":"2017-10-08T18:35:45","modified_gmt":"2017-10-08T16:35:45","slug":"caf-complete-renovation-of-the-zvjezdice-centre02","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morh.hr\/en\/caf-complete-renovation-of-the-zvjezdice-centre02\/","title":{"rendered":"CAF complete renovation of the &#8220;Zvjezdice&#8221; Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The ceremony was attended by the Association members, the Centre residents and their parents, volunteers and the Envoy of the President of the Republic Vesna \u0160kuli\u0107, as well as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Social Policy and the Youth, Milanka Opa\u010di\u0107, the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Drago Lovri\u0107 and other representatives of the Croatian Armed Forces, the local government bodies. <br \/>The building was heavily damaged in floods striking the area earlier this year, and has been rennovated through the efforts by the Engineering Battalion of the Guards Mechanised Brigade of the Croatian Army and the donations from the members of the Croatian Defence Ministry and the Armed Forces. The 67-day works were symbolically completed by the ribbon-cutting by Minister Opa\u010di\u0107 and General Lovri\u0107. <br \/>The President of the Republic&#8217;s Envoy, Vesna \u0160kuli\u0107 commended the design and the conduct of the rennovation project by the Croatian Armed Forces as highly beneficial for the entire area. <br \/>The Deputy Prime Minister Opa\u010di\u0107 emphasised that the Croatian Armed Forces had saved a number of people and their property, investing major efforts, hard work and and money donations to enable Association to resume its\u00a0 work. <br \/>The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Drago Lovri\u0107 stated that the Croatian Armed Forces members did their utmost fighting the flood and renovating the houses subsequently, despite the unfavourable conditions and completed timely &#8211;\u00a0 on the \u201eZvjezdice Association Day.
