12th Anniversary of the IMOTC
The Croatian International Military Operations Training Centre (IMOTC) celebrated its 12th anniversary today 1 March 2013 in the “Vitez Damir Martić” Barracks in Rakitje, Croatia, marking also the 10th anniversary of the first UN Course conducted by the Centre.
The ceremony of the anniversary was attended by the Army Commander, Maj. Gen. Dragutin Repinc, by the Training and Doctrine Command Commander, Col Blaž Beretin, the Deputy Director of the RACVIAC, Brig. Gen. Zdravko Jakop, the IMOTC Commander, Lt.Col. Ivica Plejić and a number of other invitees.
In his address the Army Commander, Maj. Gen. Dragutin Repinc evoked the outset of the IMOTC and its development over time and emphasised the large number of its attendees. “In 2013 the Internationa Military Operations Training Centre is to undergo re-structuring, aimed at even better results in the time ahead”, stated General Repinc.
The Anniversary was also an occasion to present the Centre’s new library and the web-site, which will soon be available to the public.
