18th HRVCON takes duty in KFOR

The first component of the 18th HRVCON, composed of 12 members of the Croatian Armed Forces, on 23 March 2015 departed for Kosovo, to take up the duty in KFOR.

The Contingent has 17 members (three helicopter crews, a technician team and the NSE, equipped with the Mi-8MTV) and is commanded by Captain Ante Siniša Kozina, a Mi-8 MTV pilot.
On departure Captain Kozina declared the Contingent’s members readiness for the mission and stressed that the flight crew was entirely of the Transport Helicopter Sqzadron of the 93rd Air Force and Air Defence Base, and that it would employ the Squadron’s Mi-8 MTV helicopters..
The Croatian Contingent will be located in the Camp Bondsteel in Ferizaj/Uroševa, assigned with transport of personnel, cargo and VIPs and is directly subordinated to the KFOR Commander.
