19th anniversary of the 4th Guard brigade “Pauci”
The 19th anniversary of the 4th Guard Brigade, now 2nd Motorized Battalion “Pauci” of the Army, was commemorated in the “Kralj Zvonimir” Barracks in Knin, on Wednesday, April 28.
The ceremony was attended by Commander of the Guard Motorised Brigade Brigadier General Mladen Fuzul, Commander of the 2nd Motorized Battalion “Pauci” Colonel Zeljko Nakic, and others.
In memory of deceased members of the 4th Guard Brigade, Brigadier General Mladen Fuzul laid a wreath in the “Sveti kriz” Barracks in Dracevac, followed by the Service by don Ivo Topalovic and fra Ivan Lukac held in the Church in Knin.
Commander of the Guard Motorised Brigade Brigadier General Mladen Fuzul, in his address to the present stressed the contribution of the 4th Guard Brigade in the Homeland War. He also recalled the tasks done in the UN mission UNDOF on the Golan Heights, and stressed the importance of Croatia as a reliable partner of NATO Alliance.
