19th HRVCON Commander visited CAF members in RC North

Commander of the 19th HRVCON in the ISAF operation in Afghanistan, Colonel Tomislav Galić and his associates recently visited members of the Croatian Armed Forces that perform their duties in the area of ​​responsibility of the Regional Command North, in Mazar-e-Sharif.

During a visit to Camp Marmal, in which resides the majority of the Croatian contingent in Afghanistan, and to Camp Mike Span in which operate Croatian operational mentoring teams, Colonel Galić confirmed the readiness of members of the Croatian contingent in the performance of complex tasks, both in Headquarters Command, and in the field, where CAF members have been recognized as true professionals who enjoy the confidence of both allies and members of the Afghan Security Forces.

19th Croatian contingent in the ISAF operation in Afghanistan, which has 339 members from the Croatian Armed Forces and four members from the Ministry of the Interior, took up its duties in early March this year.
