20th HRVCON Commander visits Croatian troops in RC North
Commander of the 20th Croatian contingent in the ISAF operation Colonel Željko Dadić with colleagues paid today, September 27, a several days’ visit to members of the contingent who serves in the area of the Regional Command North, in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan. During a visit to Mike Spann Camp, where advisory teams have been deployed (1st PAT – Police Advisory Team, 1st MAT – Military Advisory Team, 1st MN CS MAT – multinational Combat Support Military Advisory Team and members performing advisory duties at brigade level). Brigadier Dadić expressed his satisfaction whit the readiness and professionalism of our members in the performance of tasks within their responsibilities.
Brigadier Dadić also informally met with the German Colonel Jürgen Schick, senior mentor and commander of part of our members, who for our officers and NCOs has only words of praise.
In the Marmal Camp, where the majority of CAF members have been deployed, Brigadier Dadić met with members of the infantry company, staff personnel and the National Support Element.
20th HRVCON, which consists of 306 members of the Armed Forces, including 4 members of the Ministry of the Interior and 10 members from the partner countries, took over his duties in mid-September this year.
