21st HRVCON celebrates Statehood Day

All components of the 21st HRVCON took part on 25th June 2013 a small ceremony in the Camp Marmal in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan, organised to mark the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia.

The ceremony was opened by a ceremonial line-up of the members of the HRVCON, the national anthem and a minute of silence observed in honour to all those who  lost their lives in the Homeland War in Croatia and in the ISAF Operation. It was followed by the presentation of commendations by the 21st HRVCON Commander to the respective members and the title of “The 21st HRVCON’s Best Soldier” for the period March 2013 – May 2013.

The central part of the ceremony was presentation of NATO Medals for ISAF and of the Multiple-Tour Certificates for the members of the 7th Air Advisory Team, who are serving the final phase of their term. The Medals and Certificates were handed in by the 21st HRVCON Commander, Col. Krešo Tuškan and 438 AEAG Det 3 Commander (Air Advisor). Maj. Timothy E. Dodson.

The ceremony was concluded by a group photo and a reception at the occasion of the Statehood Day.
