2nd generation of missile technician specialist training graduates

The 2nd generation of missile maintenance technicians completed their specialist training at the the Logistics Training and Doctrine Centre of the Support Command, located in Požega, Croatia today 5 July 2013.

The training of a total of six members commenced on 28 January 2013, administered by Maj. Željko Košta.  The theoretical part of the training was conducted at the Logistic Training and Doctrine Centre, while the practical part was held at the Maintenance Depot in Zagreb, the Ammunition Depot „Hrvatski Ždral“ at Doljani and at the aviation ammunition depot at the Air Force and Air Defence Base at Pleso respectively.

The programme completed constituted the first phase of training of the officers for the duties of missile and missile systems maintenance technicians. Upon its completion the trainees master the 1st and the 2nd level of maintenance (preventive maintenance and technical inspection) of missile systems for future use; the candidates need to complete a traineeship mentored and supervised by experienced missile maintenance expert officers and holders of independent technician certificates. That phase is followed by the final exam before the Board of Experts and presentation of independent technician certificates to successful trainees. 

The certificates to the 6 graduated tehnicians were presented by the Head of the Support Department of the Centre, Lt.Col. Vinko Pavelić, who shared his wishes for success in their future duties and training.
