407 CAF members deployed in defending against flood

Members of the Croatian Armed Forces during the night from Monday, 20 September 2010, to Tuesday, 21 September 2010, participated in the activities of flood control in Zagreb and Sisacko-moslavacka County. These activities included a total of 407 members of the Croatian Armed Forces from the Army, Special Operations Battalion (BSD) and the Support Command (ZZP), with support of engineering equipment and eight boats.

Further involvement of members of the Croatian Armed Forces on the ground will depend on the assessment of the National Protection and Rescue Directorate.
