5th generation of voluntary conscripts completed training
The 5th generation of voluntary conscripts completed their training today, November 18, in the Centre for Basic Training in Pozega. On the occasion of completion of basic training, a ceremony was held at which the voluntary conscripts who achieved the best results in sports competitions, as well as for the best results achieved in physical skills were delivered awards.
The best recruit of the 5th generation was soldier Katarina Nekic who received a badge for the best recruit.
245 recruits, including 30 women, passed the training during the voluntary military service that started on 24 September 2010.
Through five generations of voluntary military service, 1187 voluntary conscripts, of whom 1046 men and 141 women completed training program. Ministry of Defence has so far signed contracts with 786 volunteer recruits, of which 707 for professional soldiers and 79 for the training of CAF officers.
