6th “101.8 FT” Show on air from the Zemunik Base

The “101.FT” Radio Zadar show was broadcast live for the sixth time from the Zemunik air base on 28 January 2015.

It hosted the flight instructor of the Base, 1st Lieutenant Antonija Mutabdžija, the Commander of the Fixed-wing Squadron, Lt. Col. Željko Harapin, the Commander of the Firefighter Squadron, Major Davor Turkovć and pilot Cpt. Danijel Kos.
Flight instructor, 1st Lt. Antonija Mutabžija shared her experiences from the Advanced Officer Training in Montgomery, Alabama, and announced the second  “ Night of Museums“ to be held  in the Base in the following days, joining the traditional Long Night of Museums and opening the Base door to the visitors to see the aircraft operated by th Croatian military pilots and watch the barracks using the night vision equipment.
The Fixed-wing Squadron Commander, Lt. Col. Željko Harapin informed the public of the new group of Omani pilots trained in the Zemunik Base.
The show covered the Firefighter Squadron as well, presented by its Commander, Major  Davor Turković, who announced an international aerial firefighter conference to be hosted by Croatia in April 2015 for the first time.
Cpt Danijel Kos emphasised the importance of the acquisition of the Airtractor AT-802 Fireboss, the two-seat aircraft used for the training of firefighter pilots.
