7th CAF contingent returns from KFOR
7th CAF contingent returned today, 21 September 2011, from NATO peace support operation KFOR (Kosovo Force) in Kosovo.
Members of the 7th Croatian contingent were welcomed by Commander of the CAF Command Operations Centre Brigadier General Vlado Sindler and Chief of Staff of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, Brigadier General Ivan Konc.
On this occasion, generals Sindler and Konc have pointed out that the 7th HRVCON contributed to the high reputation and thus continued good reputation of the CAF within the KFOR, and the Contingent Commander Captain Tihomir Majeric when submitting his report confirmed that all the set tasks were successfully executed.
Seventh CAF contingent in the KFOR mission had 20 members. This was the first contingent that spent six months in KFOR mission, instead of the previous three months.
