5th generation of ANA Military Police School completed training
At the end of last week, the fifth generation of officers, NCOs and soldiers of the ANA Military Police School, where Croatia is leading nation, completed the training.
The solemn line-up of 102 military policemen after 8-week course marked the completion of the training and the establishment of the planned number of Afghan Military Police companies.
On the solemn diplomas award attended by many dignitaries, Major General Aminullah Karim, Commander of ANA Training and Education (ANATEC) congratulated the students and emphasized the special position and role of the military police in the Afghan Security Forces (ANSF).
General Karim particularly thanked the mentors and instructors of the 4th Military Police Training Advisory Team (MP TAT) under the leadership of Colonel Željko Akrap, highlighting their contribution to the successful implementation of the training.
The success of the 4th multinational MP TAT proves conducting of demanding courses by the ANA instructors, who were trained by our advisors. Our military officers handed over the translated doctrinal military police documents. Officers – ANA instructors from autumn will undertake the implementation of courses throughout Afghanistan.
These acquired skills of Afghan military officers indicate that the involvement of members of the Croatian Armed Forces and of partner countries in establishing the ANA Military Police School gave very good results.
These days, NATO Channel TV has also made a report on the advisory work of the Croatian team and on the successful regional cooperation.
