ADRIATIC Sword 2010 Air Force Exercise
Squadron of fighter planes of the 91st Air Base will participate from 7 to 10 September together with pilots of the USAF 31st FW (Fighter Wing) / 555 FS (Fighter Squadron) on the “Adriatic Sword 2010” air force exercise.
Exercise was planned with the aim of training pilots of fighter aircraft for the use of intercept procedures on the mean heights and for the use of standard operating procedures in the monitoring and protecting of airspace, with the aim of increasing the safety and protection of the sovereignty of airspace of Croatia and to train task taken from force goals. Flight exercise will be carried out from 7 to 10 of September in the area of Lika and Velebit. Two MiG-21 and two F-16 will participate on the exercise. The flights will be performed in compliance with all the safety measures.
