Agreement between MOD and Croatian Scouts Association signed
Agreement on cooperation between the Croatian Ministry of Defence and the Scouts Association of Croatia (SIH) have been signed today, on Monday, June 7, by the Defence Minister Branko Vukelic and vice-president of the Scouts Association of Croatia Marijan Resetic.
This agreement allows the Scout Association of Croatia use of certain military facilities, then permission to use certain military equipment, and cooperation in the various types of training. The support to the Scouts Association will be provided by the Croatian Armed Forces on the basis of annual plans of cooperation. In its activities, the Scout Association will promote values, knowledge and skills useful for stimulating the interest in the military profession.
This Agreement is of interest of the armed forces and for promotion of military profession, as emphasized at the signing of the Agreement. The Scout Association of Croatia as a civil society organization has already signed similar agreements with other government bodies.
