Air Force and Air Defence Enlisted Soldiers and NCOs of the 2nd Quarter 2013

The Croatian Air Force and Air Defence Command today 11 July 2013 has presented the certificates to their best enlisted soldiers and NCOs.

The awarded enlisted soldiers are private first class Stjepan Ivančić, member of the MP Platoon of the Command Coy of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence Command and private first class Šime Vrsaljko, aviation mechanic of the Aircraft Squadron of the 93rd Air Base at Zemunik.
 
The NCOs Board in the second quarter of the year included the names of corporal Ivan Milat, aviation technician of the Air Technical Battalion of the 93rd Air Base, first sergeant Dragan Jovanović, Commander of the CIS Support Squad of the Air Surveillance and Control Battalion (Sector Operations Centre, Split) and corporal Jurica Cvitković, aviation weapon technician of the Fighter Aircraft Squadron of the 91st Air Force and Air Defence Base.

The Croatian Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Brig. Gen. Dražen Šćuri received the commended soldiers, praising their commitment and congratulating them. Gen. Šćuri also emphasized the benefit of the Enlisted Soldier and NCO Board as a form of valorisation of the work by the expert staff, for the Air Force and Air Defence as predominantly technical service. The Commander also extended his best wishes for their future career and expressed the hope that members of the Air Force and Air Defence and of the Armed Forces would continue to be valued by their professional merit and dedication.
 
In the appreciation address on behalf of the proclaimed servicemen,  PFC Šime Vrsaljko, the Enlisted Soldier of May, said he was honoured by the recognition and pointed to the status of limited duty officers, expressing the hope that in the future their status would see a satisfactory solution, to the benefit of both the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia and of their members.
