ANA NATO Military Police School servicemen presented with medals
At a ceremony at Camp Jullien in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Friday, 31 August 2012, the Commander of the 19th HRVCON Colonel Tomislav Galić handed out medals to members of the 4th NATO military police training advisory team (MP TAT) at the ANA School of Military Police.
Besides Colonel Galić, the ceremony was attended by Commander of the 4th MP TAT Colonel Željko Akrap and Commander of the Consulting Group of the ANA Teaching Training Centre Latvian Colonel Ivo Mogilnijs.
“To contribute to stability and security is a special privilege, honourable task given to soldiers” , Colonel Galić said when addressing the present and thanked Colonel Željko Akrap and his team for all the efforts they have made in the ANA Military Police School to become the most successful project of the A-5 initiative. “You have shown that openness and commitment to regional cooperation, the development of dialogue leads to visible results”, Colonel Galić said.
Thanking for the excellent cooperation the Commander of the 4th MP TAT said that it was the motivation of all team members from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia and Croatia that contributed to the achievement of high standards by which this school was recognized and which NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has repeatedly spoken about.
Besides NATO medals, most successful members of the 4th MP TAT were commended by the 19th HRVCON Commander and Commander of the 4th MP TAT. Colonel Akrap also awarded Colonel Ivo Mogilnijs for the excellent cooperation in the process of establishing a system of training at the ANA School of Military Police.
