Annual counseling of CAF kinesiologists in Split
Annual meetings of military kinesiologists was held from 11 to 13 December 2012 in “Sveti Nikola” Barracks in Split, in order for kinesiology employees to exchange experience and to define tasks for improving all areas of kinesiology activities in the Armed Forces.
The discussion focused on the physical readiness of members of the Croatian Armed Forces, and CAF preparations for military peacekeeping operations. Two presentations on the new Regulation on recruiting, screening and selection for admission to the military service, and test results of physical fitness of voluntary recruits were also presented. Analysis on sports competitions of the Armed Forces in 2012 was conducted and plans were presented on kinesiology activities in 2013 and on international sports competitions of the Armed Forces in 2013. The kinesiologists were also presented the “Handbook for the development of balance and functional stability of joints”.
