Bilateral consultations between MOD and NATO

The bilateral consultations between delegations of the Ministry of Defence and NATO led by State Secretary of Ministry of Defence Pjer Simunovic and Director of Force Planning, Frank Boland, were held on 7 and 8 December 2010 in the Ministry of Defence regarding the Croatian participation in NATO’s defence planning process and making an overall assessment of allied capabilities.

Bilateral consultations were conducted in order to gain insight and regular assessment of Croatian defence system, national defence plans and development of defence capabilities and forces that Croatia has been developing as a member of the Alliance. They also analyzed the Croatian contribution to the implementation of the Allied objectives in participating in peacekeeping operations.
