Bozinovic Minister received Danish Ambassador in Croatia
Minister of Defence Davor Bozinovic received on Thursday, 20 January 2011, to inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Croatia Bo Eric Weber.
The Danish Ambassador was accompanied by the Military Attaché of the Kingdom of Denmark in Croatia Colonel Søren Knudsen. During the talks, the Minister Bozinovic thanked Ambassador Weber for the support of the Kingdom of Denmark given to the Republic of Croatia on its path to Euro-Atlantic Integrations, as well as for the help of the Kingdom of Denmark through donations for various projects in the defence sector. The Minister also, following the conclusions of the Lisbon summit, gave the support of the Kingdom of Denmark for further strengthening of initiative on exchange of expertise and experience in NATO, in terms of war veterans and expressed the readiness of Croatia for a concrete contribution in this area. In this context, the Minister stressed the support on the possible establishment of a special NATO Centre of Excellence, which would be dedicated to veterans’ issues. Ambassador Weber congratulated Minister Bozinovic on his appointment to the office, and expressed satisfaction on the previous successful cooperation and on willingness to continue and expand the same in the future.
